North Fraser Bee Club's April 29th Meeting will be held at our store from 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm (Monday April 29th; 19950 Old Dewdney Trunk Rd, Pitt Meadows). This event features a presentation from Julia Common. Non-members are invited to attend too!
Julia has BSc and MSc degrees in Agriculture, and is a Bee Master and BCHPA Certified Instructor. She is a passionate speaker, a skilled beekeeper, and an excellent mentor. As a co-founder and former chief beekeeper for Hives for Humanity, Julia oversaw all of their beehives across the Vancouver region. Julia has retired from Hives for Humanity and is now an independent beekeeping consultant.
RSVP on North Fraser Bee Club's website. Drop-in rates are only $5 for non-members, so anyone who is interested is highly encouraged to attend!
Spring is here! It's a great time to bring some bees home, whether that is honeybees, mason bees or bumblebees to be your friendly neighborhood pollinators!
We currently have Mason Bees and Mason Bee Houses in stock, as well as an upcoming Basic Beekeeping Class! Come in store, or give us a call during store hours!
